Iranian authorities executed four people. These men were accused of working for the Israeli spy agency Mossad.
In Iran this year, there have been plenty of incidents of the killing of security officials and the people associated with nuclear science. However, their killers could not be traced. Iranian agencies hold Israeli spy agencies responsible for these operations.
On December 16, Iran hanged a man on charges of working for Mossad. In addition, 10 more people were arrested on charges of working for foreign agencies.
US Senator Lindsey Graham called for an attack on Iran.
