Ukrainian President Zelensky has arrived in the US where he is busy in meetings with officials.
In the US, aid to Ukraine has been suspended for various reasons. According to Zelensky, the reason for this is the corruption in Ukraine.
In a meeting with senators, he said that corruption is not such a serious problem and that aid to Ukraine should not be stopped due to it.
“He was there to explain their need, what their plans were, what their objectives were and assure … us there would be no acceptance of corruption in the deployment of any of the U.S. resources made available,” Sen. Mike Rounds said.
