American politician and activist, Bernie Sanders said in a statement: The situation in Gaza is a humanitarian disaster. The U.S. must not provide another $10 billion to the right-wing extremist Netanyahu government to continue their war against the Palestinian people which has already killed thousands of innocent men, women, and children.”
Sanders was born in a working class Jewish family. He was a major candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2016 and 2020, receiving the second most votes in each.
