Russia has decided to build its own satellite internet.

Russia will launch satellites modeled after Elon Musk’s company Starlink, providing internet. Initially, 250 satellites will be launched. This initial stage will be completed in 2027 and will provide only internet to Russia. By 2030, 700 satellites will be launched for global coverage.

This process will be developed according to the number of users. After that, apart from Starlink, people will also benefit from Russian satellite internet.
