According to the famous Irish economist Philip Pilkington, European countries are facing bankruptcies due to high energy prices.

He said: “In a lot of European countries corporate bankruptcies are higher than in 2008-09. Some of this is explained by rising interest rates and the delayed impact of the pandemic. But much of it is likely due to high energy prices and the ongoing destruction of the European economy.”
