Major shipping companies have suspended operations in the Red Sea

CMA CGM, the world’s third largest shipping company, has announced the closure of its operations in the Red Sea.

CMA CGM is a French shipping and logistics company. It is the third largest container shipping company in the world, with a presence in 160 countries through 400 offices, 750 warehouses, 155,000 employees and a wide fleet of 593 vessels.

Earlier, The world’s largest shipping company MSC, has stopped its ships from passing through the Red Sea. The second largest shipping company, Maersk line has closed its operations in the Red Sea after its ships were attacked in the Red Sea.
Another major company Hepag Lloyd has also stopped the use of Red Sea’s route.
