Argentina President Javier Milei informed the BRICS countries that he did not want to join the BRICS.
According to a source, “President Javier Milei rejected Argentina’s geopolitical rapprochement with China and Russia, sending official messages to Chinese President Xi Jinping and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin. In his messages, he announced that he was withdrawing his country’s application to join BRICS. The president also informed Brazilian President Lula da Silva, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and South African President Cyril Ramaphosa.”
