Denmark is paying significant attention towards Operation Prosperity Guardian (OPG).
OPG is a US-led military coalition formed in response to Houthi attacks in Red Sea. Through this coalition, pressure will be exerted on the Houthis, and if they persist in their approach, military action will be taken against them. Denmark was one of them.
Now Denmark has announced to send its Warship to participate in Operation Prosperity Guardian.
Denmark’s Foreign Minister says: “We will send a warship to the US-led coalition in the Red Sea in December 2024.”
The Houthis reacted to the coalition of 39 countries against them.
