US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin announced a new multinational coalition against the Houthis.
This alliance will play an important role in securing the Red Sea from Houthi attacks and will ensure the integrity of all ships passing through.

According to the Pentagon, the coalition will consist of the following nations: United States, United Kingdom, Bahrain, Canada, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Seychelles, and Spain.

The US had also invited the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia to join this coalition, but according to reports so far, they have not joined.
If they were to join, the regional peace of the region would be disturbed once again. Yesterday, the Houthis threatened Saudi Arabia and the UAE that they would face serious consequences if they joined the multinational coalition.
