A tragic accident happened in Doda district of Indian occupied Kashmir. According to the local news agency, a passenger vehicle fell into a deep ravine this morning, as a result of which 36 people were killed and 19 injured. The injured were taken to Jammu hospital by plane for treatment
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced an aid of 200,000 rupees for the dead and 50,000 rupees for the injured.
Indian Home Minister Amit Shah and the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir expressed grief over the loss of life in the accident.
