A few moments ago, there was a collision between two planes at an airport in Japan.

According to sources, one Korean Air plane collided with a Cathay Pacific plane at Hokkaido’s New Chitose Airport on January 16.

According to Japanese media, a Korean Air plane hit a Cathay Pacific plane at Hokkaido’s New Chitose Airport on January 16.The incident occurred at 5.30pm local time (4.30pm Singapore time).

There were 289 passengers and crew on the Korean Air flight. However, no one was injured in the accident and all passengers are safe.

The weather conditions in the airport region are unfavorable and the snow continues to be heavy, due to which the airport has canceled 46 flights today.

Korean Airline officials say that the accident occurred at a time when the Korean Air Plane was preparing for take-off. The plane hit another plane just before take-off.
