Russia’s media agency RIA says the US earned an additional 52 billion euros in LNG exports to Europe due to sanctions on Russia.
According to the statement of RIA, “On average, since February 2022, Europe has bought 3.1 billion cubic meters from American companies for 3.3 billion euros per month. Before the start of the SMO, the volume was 1.25 billion cubic meters for 725 million euros.
Due to Russia’s attack on Ukraine, America and Europe imposed sanctions on Russia and stopped imports from it. After that, Europe faced energy crises. Europe imported LNG from America to solve the problem.
