An Iranian court has fined the United States $50 billion for killing Major General Qasem Soleimani.

General Qasem Soleimani was the commander of the Quds Force of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards. He was targeted by a US drone near Baghdad Airport on January 3, 2020. He was on his way to meet the Iraqi President and Prime Minister at the time. Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khomeini announced a three-day mourning on his death and said that he would take revenge for it. It should be remembered that Iran announced its withdrawal from the nuclear deal after the assassination of General Qassem Soleimani.

The US took responsibility for killing General Qasem. Now an Iranian court has ordered the US to pay a fine of 50 billion dollars for this act.
