The death toll from the explosion in Iran has exceeded 100

Today at 3 o’clock local time in Iran, there was a loud explosion at the 4th anniversary of General Qassem Soleimani. When people came to help the people injured in the blast, another explosion took place, causing more casualties.

Initially, according to Iranian media, the two explosions killed 73 people and injured 188. The death toll has now increased to 107. A military C-130 plane took off to evacuate the critically wounded from Kerman to special hospitals in Tehran.

Iran’s Interior Minister Ahmad Vahidi said: “The first explosion happened at 3:00 p.m. The second, more deadly blast took place 20 minutes later, when other pilgrims came to help the injured.”
