Pakistan carried out strikes on 7 locations in Iranian Balochistan in response to the Iranian attack.

According to military sources, Pakistani aircrafts flew 20km inside Iran to hit terrorists hideouts with modern weapons.

The JF-17 Thunder used stand-off precision guided bombs in Pakistani air strikes. The Wing Long 2 drone used loitering munitions and F-16s dropped precision-guided bomb. Along with this, the army used rockets (MLRS).

Pakistan’s Foreign Office has confirmed that on Thursday morning, Pakistan launched a series of highly coordinated military attacks codenamed ‘Murg Bar Sarmchar’ against specific terrorist hideouts in Iran’s Sistan and Baluchistan province. Several terrorists have been killed during the intelligence-based operation.

In a statement released by the Foreign Office, it has been said that Pakistan has targeted several hideouts of terrorists.

It should be noted that two children were killed and three girls were injured as a result of an attack by Iran in Pakistan’s airspace two days ago.

Pakistan had strongly condemned the unprovoked violation of its airspace and the attack on Pakistani territory and said that the violation of sovereignty was totally unacceptable and could have dire consequences.

In the statement issued by the Foreign Office, it has been said that Pakistan has been informing Iran about the hideouts of terrorists for many years. Pakistan has also shared several dossiers with concrete evidence of the presence and activities of these terrorists.

However, due to non-implementation of Pakistan’s serious concerns, these so-called Sarmachars continued to shed the blood of innocent Pakistanis. However, this morning’s action was taken on the basis of credible intelligence about large-scale terrorist activities by these so-called Sarmachars.

The spokesperson of the Foreign Office said that this action is a manifestation of Pakistan’s unwavering determination to protect and defend its national security against all threats. The successful conduct of this highly complex operation is also a testament to the professionalism of the Pakistan Armed Forces. Pakistan will continue to take all necessary measures for the safety and security of its people.

In the statement issued by the Foreign Office, it was also said that Pakistan fully respects the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Iran. The sole purpose of today’s action was to achieve Pakistan’s own security and national interest, there can be no compromise on Pakistan’s security and national interest.

The spokesperson of Pakistani Foreign Office also said that Iran is a brother country and Pakistani people have respect and love for Iranian people. We have always emphasized on dialogue and cooperation to face common challenges including terrorism and will continue to try to find common solutions in the future.

Pakistan’s Prime Minister & Foreign Minister has decided to cut short their visit for WEF, Switzerland due to the ongoing situation and will be returning to the country today.
