North Korea put its spy satellite into orbit in November and announced days later that it was monitoring key US installations via satellite.
North Korea is afraid that the United States will damage this satellite or interrupt its work. Therefore, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense of North Korea clarified in a statement, “Pyongyang would respond to any American interference in space by eliminating the viability of US spy satellites.”
When the American officials were asked about this, they said that the United States does not have such capability.
