ECOWAS “Economic Community of West African States is a regional political and economic union of fifteen countries located in West Africa.
According to Sputnik Africa, the President of Côte d’Ivoire Alassane Ouattara announced The date and venue of the Economic Community of West African States after his consultation with president of the regional organization’s commission, Omar Alieu Touray.
Next ECOWAS summit to be held in Nigeria on December 10.
The last ECOWAS summit was held in early August and focused entirely on the situation in Niger,where civil-military relations were deteriorated and military coup were about to happened.
Various European countries boycotted the OSCE summit.
