Jordan’s Foreign Ministry claimed that Iranian militias are behind an attempted infiltration into Jordan.
Today, a group of armed men tried to enter Jordan, but the Jordanian army managed to push them back.
The group was entering Northern Jordan from Syria. The Jordanian FM Spokesman now says that ‘Iranian militias’ were behind the infiltration attempt, and that he spoke with Iran’s Foreign Minister.
The infiltrators carried machine guns, explosives, rocket launchers, and anti-personnel mines.
