Iranian F-4 Phantom jets escorted Russian President Putin’s plane.
Russian President Putin visited the Middle East. His plane was escorted from Russia to the Middle East by a Russian Su-35.
Russia had taken special permission from the countries through which the warplanes providing the escort had to pass during the journey.
As the Russian president flew back to his country after Middle East visit, the Su-35 resumed its responsibility to provide escort.
When the plane of the Russian President entered the Iranian airspace, the F-4 Phantom jet of the Iranian Air Force also arrived to provide escort.
