Senator John Peterman called for the resignation of his Democratic counterpart, Senator Bob Menendez.

On December 1, George Santos, a Republican member, was voted out of the House of Representatives through a voting process. 105 members of his own party voted against him.

Following Santos’ removal, Democratic Senator John Peterman has demanded the expulsion of his colleague, Senator Bob Menendez. He says, “We have a colleague in the Senate that’s actually done much more sinister kinds of things. He needs to go. If you are going to expel Santos, how can you allow Menendez to remain in the Senate? Menendez is really a Senator for Egypt, not New Jersey.”
