Hamas responded to the Israeli accusations and said “Israel bears responsibility for the resumption of war and aggression against the Gaza Strip after its refusal to accept offers to release detainees. Israel refused to deal with all our offers because it had a prior decision to resume its criminal aggression against the Gaza Strip.”
Earlier, Israel launched attacks in Gaza saying that Hamas has refused to release prisoners and fired rockets at Israel.
The Israel-Hamas conflict has escalated twice after a few days of ceasefire. Both sides are accusing each other of restarting the war.
Hamas says regarding the war that “Israel will fail the goals of their criminal aggression and the will of the defeated” occupation army will break.
