Germany is increasing controls on the borders of its neighbors Czech Republic, Poland and Switzerland.

The German Interior Ministry will increase border controls on the border with these countries until December 15. According to sources, these measures are going to stop the flow of refugees and asylum seekers.

In 2021, Germany had 1.24 million refugees and 2,33,000 asylum seekers. With this number, it was the largest host country for refugees in Europe. Now Germany has started preparations to control the flu of refugees.

Germany has stopped 1,100 illegal entries since October by monitoring the Polish border. Now Germany is going to increase surveillance on the Czech and Swiss borders as well as Poland.
