745 cars were burnt on New Year’s Eve in France.

According to sources, the French revived their traditions at the beginning of the New Year and once again set a large number of cars on fire. The French police were on high alert on the occasion and due to timely operations, there was no major loss.

Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin thanked the police for their timely intervention. In total, 389 people were detained while dealing with of the riots.

He said: “”Compared to last year, ten percent fewer cars were burned.380 arrests were made across the country, this is also ten percent less.”
