A landslide occurred due to floods in a northern region of Tanzania. As a result, 47 people have been killed and 85 injured.
Like some other African countries, people are facing difficulties due to rains and floods in Tanzania. Unexpected and stormy rains are causing damage to people, livestock and crops. About 100 houses have been destroyed in recent landslide.
The President of Tanzania, Samia Solohu Hassan, has ordered all kinds of assistance to the victims by mobilizing rescue agencies.
