Yemen’s Houthis have released a statement regarding the coalition forces’ attacks on Yemen, in which they say:

The America and Britain bears full responsibility for the aggression against our Yemeni people and it will not pass without a response and punishment.

The statement

“In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

God Almighty has spoken the truth: “Whoever assaults you, assault them in the same way that they have assaulted you. And fear Allah and know that Allah is with those who are righteous.”

The American-British enemy, in support of the ongoing Israeli crimes in Gaza, launched a brutal aggression on the Yemeni Republic with seventy-three air raids targeting the capital Sana’a and the governorates of Hodeidah, Taiz, Hajjah, and Saada. The raids resulted in the martyrdom of five and the injury of six others from our armed forces.

The American and British enemy bears full responsibility for their criminal aggression against our Yemeni people and it will not pass without a response and punishment.

The Yemeni Armed Forces will not hesitate to target the sources of threat and all hostile targets on land and sea in defense of Yemen, its sovereignty, and its independence.

This brutal aggression will not deter Yemen from its position supporting and endorsing the plight of the Palestinian people, and the Yemeni Armed Forces affirm their continuity in preventing Israeli ships or those headed to the ports of occupied Palestine from navigating in the Arabian and Red Seas.

God is sufficient for us and the best trustee, the best master, and the best helper.

Long live Yemen, free, dignified, and independent.

Victory to Yemen and all the free of the nation.”

The commander of the U.S. Air Forces in the Middle East states that over 100 air and sea-launched guided missiles were used in the strikes on Yemen.
