After United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres’ statement regarding the Hamas attacks, Israel denied visas to UN officials.
Antonio Guterres had stated that the Hamas attacks did not take place in a vacuum. His statement implied Israel’s actions of forcibly displacing Palestinians from their territories, building settlements in those areas, and their inhumane treatment towards Palestinians.
The Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations informed Israeli Radio that now they will not issue visas to any UN delegate.
