President of Israel Isaac Herzog said: “Israel is ready for another humanitarian pause in the Gaza Strip to facilitate the release of hostages.”

There is a lot of pressure on the Israeli government from within the country for bringing back of the hostages. Therefore, it wants to take out its hostages in exchange for a temporary ceasefire. But Hamas is not ready for this kind of ceasefire.

In response to Israel’s cease-fire offer, Hamas has said it is willing to negotiate a permanent ceasefire, but has not accepted any temporary ceasefire agreement.

The Gaza Ceasefire Resolution was passed by a large majority in the UN.

Ceasefire has started in gaza.

Only the US opposed the Gaza ceasefire resolution in the Security Council.
