A new defense deal was signed between Denmark and the US. Under the deal, US forces will be granted access to Danish military bases

The US will be allowed to permanently station soldiers at the military bases of Karup, Skrydstrup and Aalborg, and to store weapons and gear on Danish soil, Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen said at a news conference in Copenhagen on Tuesday.

Before this, the US and Finland have a defense agreement. In addition to the defense agreement, Finland will give the US some areas where Finnish law will not apply.

The US is starting to increase its presence in Europe. There is an impression in some circles that if Trump becomes president again, he will withdraw the US from NATO. Legislation was passed that would require congressional support for the president to withdraw the US from NATO.
